Ghana Health Team 2018

In November 2018, a team of 60 international health care providers will provide clinics to thousands of patients without access to health care.  This is the tenth medical mission; since the first one in 2007, tens of thousands of lives have been saved from sickness and death.

Team Impact

The Ghana Health Team is part broader development program in 160 villages in Northern Ghana. This team significantly impacts families in the area: parents and income-earners are restored to healthy, productive lives; parents are spared the grief of a lost child; others are given the hope of having a health baby.

And the team has an effect on health care in general in the area because of the exchange of skills and experience that happens between team members and Ghanaian health care providers. This has a lasting impact on the quality of care available to families in the region.

2018 Needs

Team members are fundraising for travel expenses; clinic equipment, supplies, and drugs; and support for volunteers and surgical patients.
