Zumba is a fitness party that blends upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography, for a total-body workout that feels like a celebration! So come out with your family and friends because this is going to be a party you don't want to miss!
WHY YOUR SUPPORT IS SO IMPORTANT
Funds raised by this event will support those who are forced to flee their homes due to violence and persecution, and who are seeking protection here in Canada. MCRS supports refugee claimants through the claim process, ensuring that refugees in Waterloo region experience welcome, compassion, inclusion, and justice. You can support families and individuals in the midst of the refugee claim process, not only with their legal claim, but settlement support – giving them a trusted friend when they need one.
"When you arrive in a new country everything is new. You need support and guidance, and you have to look for help. It is important to have the right information so that you can make a good start in Canada. We felt that MCRS was like a family we could count on."— Ricardo & Letty, successful Refugee claimants
