At Meal Exchange, we believe that post-secondary campuses are an ideal leverage point for building sustainable and just food systems, and that student leaders have the power to drive this change.
A national registered charity founded in 1993, we work with over 40 universities and colleges in Canada and our programs have been run in over 100 communities across the country. For more than 20 years, Meal Exchange has been supporting students to develop innovative solutions to enhance food security and sustainability on their campuses and in their communities.
What People Are Saying
"Meal Exchange helped support the creation of a student run farm. It was amazing to see everyone come together and feel at home at the farm. Through this project, I see that ecological farming is now a possibility. I now know that I am capable of being a farmer."

"Through the Meal Exchange conference, I gained motivation and strengthened my drive to be a leader in the fight for national food security and sovereignty."
