"When we found (the GTA Youth Blind Hockey) Team, it was just a lifesaver for us" - Judy, Blind Hockey Mom.
Canadian Blind Hockey programming contributes to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of Canadians who are blind or partially sighted across Canada, and has impacted the lives of well over 1000 different boys and girls through our youth programs coast-to-coast.
We are a national registered charity that runs children’s try it sessions, learn to skate programs, development camps, eastern and western regional tournaments, as well as our flagship Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament.
"This is a huge opportunity (I feel) very lucky, and without it, I really don't know what I would do" - Tim, Youth Blind Hockey Player
2019 NATIONAL BLIND HOCKEY TOURNAMENT & FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
The 7th annual Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament will be by far the BIGGEST event in the history of the parasport of Blind Hockey!
The tournament takes place at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ontario from March 22 - 24, 2019, and in the lead up to the tournament, we are running our annual fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $75,000 to support life-changing programming across the country.
We are expecting between 100 and 125 participants who are blind or partially sighted, who will be competing in a record five different divisions including: Children, Youth, Low Vision and Development, Open, and Select Blind Hockey Divisions.
In addition to our children and youth programs, this year's Select Division will feature the top 50 Blind Hockey players on the planet representing Canada East, Canada West, and USA Blind Hockey. These star-studded teams will compete in a double round-robin and provide Blind Hockey fans with eight unbelievable games throughout the weekend!
This is the biggest and best Canadian Blind Hockey event of the season, with players of all ages expected from across Canada including the Toronto Ice Owls, Vancouver Eclipse, Calgary Seeing Ice Dogs, Edmonton Seehawks, Hiboux de Montreal, Nova Scotia See-Kings, Newfoundland Eye-Landers, as well as from across the United States and England.
Your donations support the charity’s programs right across Canada, and all donors will be recognized at our showcase event - the Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament. All donors who contribute by MONDAY, MARCH 18 will be recognized on our "Donor-Wall-of-Fame" in the program, on signage on the venue concourse, on our website, and acknowledged by the PA announcer as well as the web and audio broadcast team.
All donations receive charitable tax receipts. Please consider giving today and supporting Canadian Blind Hockey. We thank you in advance for your support!

WHAT IS BLIND HOCKEY?
The para-sport of Blind Hockey is played by athletes of all ages who have 10% vision or less, using an adapted puck that makes noise, and is bigger and slower than a traditional puck.
