The Abrigo Centre offers programs and services to support members of the community throughout their lifespan, including tailoring it to the needs of youth, adults and seniors.
Our programs address a variety of social determinants of health, including gender, race, disability, social exclusion, housing, early childhood development, income, employment and education.
Many of our clients are families with children, vulnerable youth, abused women, seniors and newcomers.
Others are the working poor, individuals receiving social assistance, living with a disability, experiencing financial difficulties and individuals in need of access to essential services, such as income maintenance programs, food banks and shelters. Some Abrigo clients are immigrants or refugees and some are out of status.
