4th Annual River City Runners' 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge!
Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area Society
It’s time for the 4th annual River City Runners’ 24 hour Treadmill Challenge! This year we’re raising funds for Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters (BGCBigs) Eat Smart Program. Every dollar raised equals a nutritious meal for a child in Edmonton ($1 = 1 meal!) The meals are served across 14 BGCBigs' after-school sites for children all around Edmonton.
What’s happening?
Starting on March 10, 2018 at noon until March 11 at noon (hence the 24 hour bit) two treadmills at the Lululemon on Whyte will be continuously powered by runners donating their sweat and their cash to the Eat Smart Program. You can support these runners and this great cause by donating funds to help reach our goal of providing 30,000 meals ($30,000) for kids in Edmonton. Pick a runner or team to support!
The weekend will also feature a variety of ‘karma’ workout classes in a (think spin, barre, yoga ). Check out www.rivercityrunners.ca to register!
