2021 Tournament Highlights
-Hockey enthusiasts of all skill levels have the chance to hang-out with renowned NHL hockey legends both on and off the ice.
-Each team will have a dedicated NHL Legend with them on the ice and in the dressing room
-The tournament wraps up with the highly anticipated ‘Hot-Stove’ where the legends tell stories and give unprecedented insight into their hockey careers.
The tournament starts in the morning on Saturday October 3 with an exciting Draft Breakfast, where each team will select an NHL star to play on their team based on fundraising totals. In addition, the top individual fundraisers from each team will play against the NHL Celebrity All-Star Team at the end of the tournament day.
Legends of Tomorrow is a charity hockey tournament that has taken fundraising to the ice in PEI! The Boys & Girls Club is thrilled to present this exciting tournament in support of youth and youth-at-risk for the first time in our community! With this event, we hope to raise money for prevention and intervention programs for vulnerable youth in your community. Sponsoring this event will help us provide positive, structured, youth-centered support programs that reduce the risk factors associated with poverty, mental health and addiction challenges, helping kids become the Legends of Tomorrow.
Funds raised will allow us to provide critical services and programs. In a snapshot of our Club you might see a dad bringing his son to our free basketball program, a family picking up a backpack of groceries to make meals for the week, or a teen getting volunteer hours in our after-school program before coming to the evening drop-in for supper and a safe place to hang out. We provide support and services to 500 children, youth and families every year, with countless more calls for assistance and access to our programs
