NHL Legends of Toronto Charity Hockey Game and Banquet
BIG BROTHERS AND BIG SISTERS OF RED DEER AND DISTRICT
Welcome to the NHL Legends of Toronto!
Mark your calendars, hockey fans. The NHL Legends of Toronto will be coming to the Westerner Park Centrium on March 15, 2020.
The combined event, a charity hockey game as well as post-game banquet, will be benefiting both Big Brothers Big Sisters of Red Deer and District as well as Boys & Girls Club of Red Deer and District.
So far confirmed players for the NHL Legends of Toronto team include Al Iafrete, Andrew Raycroft, and Colton Orr. The Legends team will be coached by former NHL forward, NHL head coach, and current Innisfail Eagles Head Coach Brian Sutter. They will face off against the Red Deer Dream Team, a community team of like-minded hockey enthusiasts pledging to play and ultimately raising money for two great causes. The Dream Team will be coached by former NHL winger Kevin Smyth.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR PLAYERS:
- Red Deer Dream Team players must secure their spot to play with a $250 deposit.
- Minimum pledging amount is $750 per player.
- A prize will be awarded for highest fundraising total, so have at it and have fun!
Join As An Individual: Click this button to create your own individual page. You will be prompted to create a free donor account with CanadaHelps where your page will be hosted. When creating your page, note especially the following two fields:
Page Title: Will appear at the top of your fundraising page. Personalize it so your friends and family know it's you! Eg. "Firstname's Page"
Page Owner: "Firstname Lastname"
Then write a short personal fundraising story. Set your fundraising goal and add a photo of yourself as the “Featured Image”; it will appear on your page above your fundraising story.
Make sure to donate to a specific participant or team to share your message of encouragement! To give through a specific participant, select "Find a Team or Person", type the name then click "Search". To see a complete list of all participants, click "Search" without typing in the search field.
