For the Great Canadian Birdathon 2020 I'll be doing something very different than previous years... an audio recorded birdathon!
For practicality reasons, using a modified format. In the month of May I will record up to 24 hours of birdsong recordings in the field, in person. It will not be on a specific date, because the ability to do audio recording is highly sensitive to weather conditions. The goal will be to get good clean audio recordings of as many bird species' songs I can.
The resulting recordings will become source content for future episodes of the Songbirding podcast. I will try to have a fairly quick turn around on getting some episodes out in May, but some content may be reserved for later in the year.
Funds raised will be split between Birds Canada and the Fatal Light Awareness Program (FLAP).
