The Burlington Museum Foundation has kicked off its 2019 Past Mayors’ of Burlington Campaign to help reach the community’s $2.5-million fundraising target.
Walter Mulkewich, Rob MacIsaac and Rick Goldring are joining forces with the BMF board to help spread the word that the community’s help is needed to raise the final $500,000 for a project that will enhance the waterfront and help drive economic development in the city.
BMF Board Chair John Doyle, speaking at the board’s Annual General Meeting in May, said he was pleased to report that the expansion project is moving forward on time and on budget with the city expected to take occupancy from the contractor by July 22. John said he believes the launch of the Mayors’ Campaign will help the Museums Foundation reach its fundraising goal by the end of September this year.
John Doyle added he is grateful for the support of past city mayors in helping the Foundation achieve its fundraising goal.
