Help Build The Bridge - A Home for Cultural Innovation
The Bridge is transforming how artists build sustainable careers by bridging art and technology, tradition and innovation. Since August 2023, we've supported over 1,000 artists through workshops, hosted 16 artists-in-residence, and created a welcoming space for Toronto's diverse cultural community. Now, we're taking the next step.
We have already raised $10,000 thanks to the support of Stephen Stohn & Linda Schuyler and The William and Nona Heaslip Foundation.
Success Stories:
At the cutting edge of art and technology, we're presenting AI-to-Audience, featuring LEO - a 6-foot AI character that engages visitors in real-time, unscripted exchanges. This groundbreaking project brings together media artists, performers, and engineers, demonstrating how the Bridge supports innovation in cultural production.
Our resident company Arrowwood Theatre exemplifies our commitment to diverse voices. This Queer-led company creates physically dynamic movement theatre and provides opportunities for early-career artists. Through our business coaching and space support, Arrowwood has established regular programming, expanding their community impact.
