Animal overpopulation is a real concern in remote Canadian communities without access to veterinary services. The animals suffer from lack of resources and living life as a stray. For those communities that work with rescue groups to help re-home animals in need, it is an overwhelming, never-ending task. The Canadian Animal Assistance Team (CAAT) partners with remote indigenous communities to provide spay/neuter, vaccination and wellness services to animals in need. Our mission is to work with the community to reduce the population growth and work toward sustainable, locally run programs. We need your help to raise funds to help these communities and their animals.
