Imagine living in a place where veterinary care is unavailable for animals. This is the reality for many remote communities in Canada, where dog and cat overpopulation and disease impact animal health and welfare.  The result, animal welfare issues; not enough homes for all the litters being born, packs of dogs forming to scavenge through life, and female dogs suffering through having litter after litter, year after year.

We STOP the issue at the source!   The Canadian Animal Assistance Teams (CAAT) goes right into these communities and provides free veterinary services through volunteer teams.   Not only do we stop the rampant reproduction and help the females live a healthier, safer life, we stop so many litters being born that there are no homes for and no vet care for.   Giving to CAAT has a HUGE impact now and for the future.  We reduce the number animals in local shelters, reduce disease transmission through vaccinations and improve animal welfare through our program.
