What we do

At CCS, our mission is to unite and inspire Canadians to take control of cancer.   

As the largest national charitable funder of cancer research, we fund high performance research that improves cancer outcomes and addresses the greatest opportunities for progress. We lead change in the most pressing areas of cancer policy including prevention, access, affordability and support. And we provide trusted information on more than 100 cancer types for all Canadians, promote cancer prevention and provide compassionate support to help people with cancer, their families and caregivers cope.
