The Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network is the only national, community-based charitable organization in Canada working exclusively on HIV/AIDS-related policy and legal issues.
Since 1992, we have upheld the human rights of people living with HIV/AIDS, in Canada and internationally.
Our work is funded in part by donations from individuals and organizations. Without this generous support, important activities, public education, research and human rights advocacy could not continue.
We work to bring about a world in which
- the human rights of people living with HIV/AIDS and those affected by the disease are respected, protected and fulfilled; and
- laws and policies facilitate HIV prevention efforts, as well as care, treatment and support for people living with HIV/AIDS.
