ABOUT:

The Tickle Swim for Mental Health is a challenging 5 km open-ocean swim across the Tickle from Portugal Cove-St. Philip's to Bell Island in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association's work in Newfoundland and Labrador. This year, we are also holding the first-ever Little Tickle! The Little Tickle is a near-shore 1 km swim intended for new and junior swimmers. Swimmers of all abilities are welcome provided they can complete the distance. This is not a race, although some friendly competition does occur.

The aim of each event is to underline the importance of improving and maintaining good mental health through physical fitness and to support the work of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Newfoundland and Labrador Division (CMHA-NL), across the province.
