The Tickle Swim for Mental Health is a 5km swim across the tickle from Portugal Cove St. Phillips to Bell Island in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association's work in Newfoundland and Labrador. It will take place on August 10th 2019 at 7 a.m., (with Sunday as a weather day).  For more details on this event, visit the Tickle Swim website at http://tickleswim.com/

In 2019 we will also host a shorter "Little Tickle" swim on Aug 24 for juniors and beginning swimmers. Location TBD.

The aim of these events is to underline the importance of improving and maintaining good mental heath through physical fitness, and to support the work of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Newfoundland and Labrador Division (CMHA-NL) across this province.

Swimmers of all abilities are welcome provided they are fit enough to complete the distance. This is not a race although some friendly competition does occur.

The fundraising goal for 2019 is to surpass $30,000!
