This Giving Tuesday, we’re raising funds and giving back to an organization we believe in: Indigenous Brilliance. All funds received through our Canada Helps donation page for the Giving Tuesday campaign will be split 50/50 between The Capilano Review and Indigenous Brilliance of Room Magazine.
Read more about these two organizations:
Indigenous Brilliance works to center Indigenous stories, by shining a spotlight on the brilliance that exists in Indigenous communities. Through their reading and performance series, Indigenous Brilliance supports emerging and established Indigenous artists while providing a diverse and broad platform to showcase their work. They believe that stories hold power to heal wounds, connect people, and bridge generations. This belief informs their mentorship and community work, supporting local and national Indigenous practices.
The vision of The Capilano Review Contemporary Arts Society is a thriving literary and arts community. The Capilano Review engages the community by regularly hosting free public events, and championing a broad range of authors, artists and community initiatives through their publishing platforms. This Giving Tuesday, they are honoured to partner with Indigenous Brilliance to raise funds for this valuable and necessary reading series.
All donations are anonymous and acknowledged with a donation tax receipt.
