We are calling on you to help. One way that we can make a connection is by sending a positive message to a resident. We have created three postcard templates that you can choose from to send a special message. It can be sent to a loved one living in CapitalCare or to us and we will give to a resident that could use a pick me up at this time. Each postcard is fillable so that you can type in it, save it and then email it back. We will print your card and pass it on to residents to spread the positivity!
Send your postcard now by visiting https://ccfletsconnect.weebly.com/
We know you still care about residents so here are some other ways you can help:
- Send artwork. Take a photo or scan it and send it in an email so that we can print and hang it in resident rooms. This is a great way for children to get connected!
- Make a donation for program supplies or tech devices so we can continue to lift up residents’ spirits by making connections. A great example of a project funded by CapitalCare Foundation is CapitalCare Dickinsfield’s Connect Corner (See photos below). It’s a place where residents have access to technology like computers and iPads and can connect with family over video calls, email and social media.
The need for connection at a time like this is so very important. Together – one connection at a time - we can find purpose while supporting some of our most vulnerable populations.
