Hike for Hospice Palliative Care
Carefor Health & Community Services
Carefor Hospice Cornwall opened its doors to local palliative care patients in the fall of 2009. Since that date, it has provided end of life care to 1100+ residents and their families. All services are free of charge to the patient. Hike for Hospice helps to raise much-needed funds to assist in the continued operation of the hospice.
This year, we’re faced with a unique challenge as we adapt to the ever changing circumstances of COVID-19. As many of us are staying home and practicing social distancing, we’ve made the decision to host the 2020 Virtual Hike for Hospice.
Make the Virtual Hike for Hospice work for you!
- Stay connected: Although you may not be able to canvas for pledges, you can still make an impact! Connect with your network by phone, email, or social media and record pledges on their behalf.
- Go virtual: Through the power of CanadaHelps.ca, we’ve made it possible for your pledges to make their donations virtually.
- Put a little spring in your step: Go for your hike at your local park (while practicing safe social distancing) and continue to make a difference in our community. Make it a family activity with the kids, or head out solo. The choice is up to you.
- Do it on your time: Go for your hike when ever you would like. All we ask is your hike be completed before June 30, 2020.
