In the remote communities of the Cariboo/Chilcotin in BC's Central Interior, the Cariboo Presbyterian Church seeks to share the love of Christ with those beyond the reach of the traditional church through house churches, children's programs, First Nations outreach and music ministries. We are called to go out to the people rather than make them come to where the church exists in a designated building. Missionaries travel by 4X4 trucks to remote communities to gather people in homes to worship and serve their neighbours.
While we do not have buildings to upkeep, the costs of ministry include the stipends of missionaries and the upkeep and fuel for 2 4X4 trucks. You can help bring the church to those beyond the reach of the traditional church by supporting the costs of bringing a missionary to a house church once a week. Lives are transformed by relationship in a worshipping group who then go out and share that love with those around them.
