The Canadian Centre for Men and Families (Ottawa) is dedicated to robust advocacy and support on behalf of men and families. We are home to the Survivors of False Allegations Support Group. Run by a dedicated team of facilitators, our weekly support groups serve men in the Ottawa area and across the country who have been targeted by false allegations. In concert with our support groups, we are dedicated to promoting public education about the growing problem of false allegations, facilitated by a legal climate which increasingly facilitates easy, unfounded allegations of abuse.
Help us raise the money needed to continue to support men in need. Your donations will go to supporting the ongoing administrative and facility-operations cost of our small, grass roots not-for-profit. Your generous support will help us keep our doors open, not a small feat in a climate in which men's service organizations are severely underfunded compared to organizations that serve women. Over the next year, your contributions will help us achieve our medium term goals:
1) growing our legal research and advocacy wings;
2) providing high level trauma recovery relief for survivors of false allegations, in the form of subsidized counselling services catered to the unique needs of male survivors.
