The Canadian #ADHD Community is 2 million strong! ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects 5%-9% of children and 3%-5% of adults in Canada, and chances are high that you know someone who has been personally affected.
October is ADHD Awareness Month! Come together and help reduce the stigma for individuals and families who are living with and impacted by ADHD and create a better understanding of ADHD. The funds raised will help Canada’s only ADHD charity create educational materials, programming and services that help individuals affected by ADHD and their families.
Here’s how you can make an impact during ADHD Awareness Month:
Educate - Host an ADHD education session in your workplace
Fundraise - Create fundraiser or join a marathon to raise funds for CADDAC
Advocate - Talk to others about ADHD, or share your ADHD story to break the stigma!
Donate - Become a monthly donor, or make a one time donation to help CADDAC create programs and services that help individuals with ADHD and their families.
What are you going to do this October? Share your impact with us on social media! The fund raised will go to programs, support and education.
