Nick Healey Hike for Mental Health - March 22 2020
Canadian Mental Health Association, Vancouver-Fraser Branch
Save the Date: Sunday March 22, 2020
The Nick Healey Hike for Mental Health is our second annual hike up Burnaby Mountain, established by the Delta Kappa Epsilon - Tau Beta Fraternity at Simon Fraser University.
This hike is dedicated to a Tau Beta "founding father", who took his own life due to mental health challenges, on March 25, 2014.
Last year at our inaugural hike, we raised over $6,700 for CMHA Vancouver Fraser. Our goal is to raise $10,000 this year.
We are bumping things up this year as merchandise will be for sale, and after the hike there will refreshments and food, available by donation.
We encourage individuals, families, teams and groups around the community, as well as SFU student clubs to join us on March 22nd on Burnaby Mountain, to benefit the Canadian Mental Health Association, Vancouver-Fraser.
Funds raised will be directed to children and youth living with mental health challenges.
The hike will commence at the trail at base of Burnaby Mountain, on the Burnaby Mountain Parkway side, and will finish atop the Simon Fraser University campus.
