In the Halton Region, our forests and green spaces are being challenged.
In the last year, more than 8,700 ash trees were removed from Conservation Halton properties after being damaged by Emerald Ash Borer. There are 1,000,000 other ash trees on our properties that are at risk. We need your help to plant new trees and restore the areas that have been impacted. By donating, you make it possible for us to keep our forests abundant with wildlife, our trails beautiful for future generations and our watershed resilient to climate change.
For $10 you can plant a tree.
We want to celebrate your support. Donors who contribute $50 or more, before the end of 2019, will be named on a “thank you” sign at the Kelso trailhead until the end of 2020. You can also choose to donate in memory or in honour of someone.
