In 2004, commissioned by the City of Lévis , Diffusion Avant Scène took over the management of the beautiful auditorium of the Old Post Office in Saint-Romuald district of Lévis. Spreading over 75 professional performances annually , the nonprofit organization's mission is to promote the deployment of emerging artists while providing a program of professional quality, diverse and affordable. An important place is given to artists in the Chaudière-Appalaches. For 10 years, hundreds of emerging artists were able to produce on this professional stage of 100 seats with a unique and intimate character, which served as a springboard for their careers. Damien Robitaille, Coeur de Pirate, Lisa Leblanc, Les Soeurs Boulay, Karim Ouellet, to name them, have gone through the VBP in them early career. In addition to the fall and winter schedules , the VBP presents 25 theater performances in summer by students graduating from the Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Art in Quebec, which enables them to produce a first professional show immediately after their academic career.
