Discovery House is about hope and healing. From the moment families walk through our yellow door, their lives are changed forever. Since 1980, we have given Calgarian families leaving domestic violence long-term, safe places to call home while they heal from trauma and begin rebuilding their lives. Discovery House provides families with support, counselling and programs to prevent the cycle of abuse from repeating.
