DreamShare Uganda was launched in 2012 to support Ugandan children and introduce Canadians to the spectacular world of Ugandan arts.
Our work is directed by the people of Uganda. We ask, "What do you need and how can we help?".
In 2019, 95% of proceeds from fundraising have been sent for projects at Green Hill Primary & Junior School that benefit students and their community. The school had 340 students in 2014 and, in 2019, has over 720.
To date we have installed latrines, built a girls' dormitory, had desks made, and started a sewing project which will provide machines, teach students to sew, and enable them to make money selling what they produce.
