Wellness begins here
Wellness is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being beyond freedom from disease or infirmity.
The Live Well Festival is rooted in the collaborative work of the Elspeth Heyworth Centre for Women (ehcw), and ARRA Arts Inc. Our emphasis is the proactive maintenance and improvement of health and wellness for individuals and our community. We define wellness as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being beyond freedom from disease or infirmity.
The festival is the result of a shared desire to change attitudes and raise awareness of activities that prevent disease, improve health, enhance quality of life, and bring people and communities to increasingly optimum levels of well-being.
The funds raised through the festival will support wellness related work at both organizations, including specialized programs for women, seniors and those without access to holistic care services and supports.
As a celebration dedicated to awakening our human potential for wellness, Live Well provides a platform for different cultures to collide harmoniously in regenerative community.
Our aim is for participants to leave inspired through their collective experience in art, movement, music, dance, performance, education, regenerative strategies and our fundamental connection with each other. We’d love to share this experience with you.
The Festival brings together an inspiring mix of experts to experience disciplines without intimidation or judgement. Engage with the experts, learn new practices, reflect on your life, and develop an individual path to wellness. Join us on the journey and contribute to our diverse, inclusive community.
