Since 1982, the Environmental Law Centre has been involved in the preservation of natural spaces and habitat for our wildlife and all biodiversity.
With your support, we will keep doing so well into the future.
The ELC undertakes educational initiatives that address, among others, climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation, cap-and-trade, carbon taxes, renewable energy, clean electricity, energy efficiency and energy conservation.
We are educating Albertans on their substantive right to environmental quality. We are committed to seeing the establishment of procedural safeguards to ensure that this substantive right is fulfilled – including your right to information, to participate in decision making and access to justice in seeking remedies for past, present or anticipated violations.
