Cats are living longer than ever. Sixteen years of age is considered an average lifespan, but more and more of them are living well into their late teens, early twenties. Unfortunately even healthy middle aged cats are often considered "over the hill" by adopters. It is realistic to consider the possibilty of additional age related veterinary costs and the potential lifespan of a new companion cat. With Opportunity For Old Cats, FRFA hopes to alleviate these concerns by providing additional geriatric screening, dentistry and a veterinary evaluation of the cat's health status.
FRFA wants to see more mature cats celebrating life as they should in a loving home that appreciates how very special they are.
