Meaningfully connecting art, Canadians and the causes they care about in a celebration of creativity and community.
We are proud to be one of the signature events celebrating Canada's 150th! In 2017, we will host 10 Timeraiser150 parties in 10 provinces allowing Canadians to bid on original art by investing volunteer time, not dollars, to causes they care about.
Online150 is an online extension of Timeraiser. Through Online150 Canadians from coast to coast can purchase art by volunteering their time with a nonprofit organization in their local community.
Visit www.timeraiser.ca for more information.
Launched in 2003, Framework has been promoting civic engagement through our signature program—Timeraiser. Timeraiser raises skilled volunteer hours in communities across Canada by asking people to bid volunteer hours, not money on art. At Timeraiser artists get paid. Nonprofits connect to skilled volunteers. Skilled people put their time to good use.
In 2017 TIMERAISER150 Will...
- Throw 10 parties in 10 provinces
- Invest up to $200,000 in the careers of emerging Canadian artists
- Raise up to 150,000 volunteer hours
- Engage up to 5,000 Canadians to pledge and participate
- Support the efforts of hundreds of national and local nonprofits and charities
What People Are Saying
"It's not very often you deal with a group who is this great at what they do, especially when it comes to the artwork world. Kudos to you on a job well done."
