Meaningfully connecting art, Canadians and the causes they care about in a celebration of creativity and community.
Launched in 2003, Framework promotes civic engagement through our signature program—Timeraiser. Timeraiser raises skilled volunteer hours in communities across Canada by asking people to bid volunteer hours, not money on art. At Timeraiser artists get paid. Nonprofits connect with skilled volunteers. Skilled people put their time to good use.
In 2017 TIMERAISER:
- Hosted 10 events in our 10 provinces
- Invest over $126,000 in the careers of emerging Canadian artists
- Raised over 76,500 volunteer hours
- Engage over 5,000 Canadians to pledge and participate
- Supported the efforts of hundreds of national and local nonprofits and charities
