Saskatoon’s Free Flow Dance Theatre is thrilled to celebrate its 25th anniversary as one of Canada’s independent, professional contemporary dance companies in 2020. We are pleased to announce that our special guest artists for the season will include internationally acclaimed choreographer Danny Grossman, the current director of the contemporary dance program at the Alberta Ballet, Graham McKelvie, Toronto based choreographers Newton Moraes and Shannon Litzenberger and guest instructor and mentor Allen Kaeja of Kaeja D'Dance.
We will be celebrating throughout the year with a variety of special events on top of our regular programming including archival displays through the Saskatoon Public Library and Dance Saskatchewan, a tour to a variety of rural Saskatchewan towns and collaborative projects with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, Saskatoon Opera and the Remai Art Gallery. You are invited to celebrate with us at our culture days anniversary dance party and our formal gala at the Remai Arts Centre Rawlco Radio Hall Mainstage this summer.
This season we have moved towards utilizing more of an online fundraising system. Due to a variety of reasons people may choose to donate online instead of attending an event. It is critical for arts organizations to maintain their financial support and to weather the storm of economic, environmental and health crisis that has arisen. We ask you our supporter to continue to find a way to support our company through these hardships. Donations of all levels are very welcome and will help contribute to the longevity of our company. We have already made it to year 25 and we look forward to serving you for many more years to come!
