Free Korean Dogs
Millions of dogs are slaughtered for meat consumption in Korea every year. Most of them are kept in tiny, overcrowded cages in dog meat farms and provided no water or shelter from the elements, and given only scraps of waste to eat. It is also common practice for dogs to be brutally tortured prior to slaughter.
On September 7, 2019, Free Korean Dogs is thrilled to be hosting our first ever Free Korean Dogs 5K Freedom Walk. Please join us as we walk together to free all dogs from lives of pain and suffering. Our route is designed for people of all abilities, whether you choose to walk 1K or the entire 5K route.
The walk will be followed by an outdoor picnic and flea market, so participants can relax, have a snack/lunch, and socialize with other participants and dogs.
100% of proceeds will help support the medical, training, and shelter costs of dogs, rescued from the dog meat trade. All are welcome, including friends, family, and dogs!
Location - High Park (Picnic Area #15, across from the swimming pool), Toronto Time : September 7, 2019, registration at 9:15AM, Walk starts at 10AM.
