Full Circle is the premier Indigenous performing arts organization in Western Canada. We bring the performing arts to the community and believe in promoting intercultural understanding. Traditionally, in the Indigenous world, art is not separated from the community. It is integral to a happy and healthy way of life. However, many people, for a variety of reasons, live in difficult circumstances and lack the resources to participate.
For this year's Giving Tuesday Canada, Full Circle hopes to help children and adults alike of low income and marginalized communities receive the gift of Indigenous performing arts. Giving Tuesday Canada is part of a global movement for giving that follows Black Friday each year. It’s a day for organizations to rally their Holiday Season donations and give back to their communities. Your gift will bring art back into the community - where it is intended to be – and will open the door to many who are often unable participate in artistic activities and witness the incredible power they can have.
Our goal is to provide tickets and transportation for 500 low income and marginalized individuals to attend the 2020 Talking Stick Festival, the only annual multi-disciplinary Indigenous performing arts festival in North America.
Your gift will help us do this.
