Help us set up hand washing stations and increase social distancing in Uganda, Dominican Republic, Kenya and Cuba.
How many of vulnerable communities will be infected with the Coronavirus just because they cannot wash their hands? While many of us are fortunate to have access to masks, sanitizer and clean water, people in developing nations are suffering from lack of safe water and proper hygiene. How can people in nations like Uganda, Dominican Republic, Kenya, and Cuba find a way to protect themselves during this tragic pandemic?
Why is hand washing so important?
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends cleaning hands to avoid getting sick and spreading the Covid-19 virus to others. The World Health Organization (WHO), states hand washing is an act of solidarity because it reduces the risk of infecting other people in their community.
How we are helping
H2O4ALL is ready to reach out in solidarity to help stop the spread of Covid-19. Just think about how many lives can be saved if people were able to simply wash their hands with soap and water.
Join our Clean Hands Initiative
Please partner with us by participating in H2O4ALL’s Clean Hands Initiative. This effort will provide hand washing stations with safe water and soap. It will also help people in our project communities develop a habit of good hand washing and social distancing practices to prevent the transmission of diseases, now and in the future.
