100% of your Week of Giving donation helps us build homes for families, right here, in Waterloo Region.
Habitat Homeowners invest 500 service hours to build homes for themselves and their neighbours.
Over 90% of our homes are built through volunteer labour.
Families like Paige and Russ, along with their two little girls, who recently moved out of a rental apartment into their new Habitat home in Kitchener. Russ worked long days in construction, while Paige made the necessary choice to stay home, to provide the steady, long-term care their daughter - diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis - required.
Paige and Russ became Habitat for Humanity homeowners, working alongside dedicated community volunteers, to build homes for themselves and their neighbours.
This December, Paige and Russ are looking forward to the holidays, hosting family celebrations and being part of their new community.
During this season of giving, as we spend time in the homes of our friends and loved ones, please take a moment to consider a donation in support of other families, in need of safe and decent housing.
