Hamilton Food Share sources good, healthy food donations, often deemed surplus, and redirects it onto the tables of local people people living in poverty. When you donate to Hamilton Food Share you are helping people who are struggling with hunger and must visit food banks and hot meal programs or they will not eat.
Last year, Hamilton Food Share raised and distributed over 3.35 million pounds of food, 65% of which was fresh or frozen.
More than 13,000 people use a food bank each month in Hamilton. Over 33% of those needing food banks are children. Please help ensure that no child goes hungry.
Hamilton Food Share benefits hungry people throughout our community since we provide food to 14 food banks and 103 hot meal programs serving every corner of the city.
