HPFFA Charity Bed-Push
Hamilton Professional Fire Fighters Association Charity
The HPFFA will be bringing back an old-school fundraiser, reminiscent of the early 1990’s…the HPFFA Charity Bed-Push, presented by Healthcare and Municipal Employees' Credit Union (HMECU)! The original bed used in 1991 to raise funds for McMaster Children’s Hospital and pushed from Niagara Region to Hamilton will be refurbished, updated and ready to go for the June 23, 2018 event!
Teams of a minimum of 7 members will fundraise a minimum of $500.00 each per team to be eligible to push the HPFFA bed around Bayfront Park on the 1.5km route (approximate) in support of Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation and the HPFFA Charity. This isn't your typical Bed-Push race! Get ready to run with Hamilton Firefighters around the Park participating in fire fighter related challenges throughout the course. Of course there will be one timed section, but we want your team to have fun accomplishing this course! And don't worry...we provide the bed(s). You just need to get your team motivated and ready for a great day of fun!
At the end of each Push, teams can enjoy their success inside Bayfront Park with great food, beer garden, music provided by Y108, Kidz Zone, vendors and more! Team spots are limited, so please register soon!
The Bed-Push will run from 10am to 6pm (approx) at Bayfront Park.
Team Captains will need to register full teams prior to the event registration cut off date.
Teams will need to sign-in on-site at least 30 minutes prior to their race time.
The fun in the Park will include:
KIDS’ ZONE with games & activities
o Mini Fire Fit course for youth
o Fire Hose & targets
o Oversized fire related puzzles
o Photo ops & other interactions
MUSIC provided by Y108
BEER GARDEN supplied by CLIFFORD BREWERY
