Concerts in Care has grown by leaps and bounds in the past year; in 2023 we presented 32 concerts, and we are on track to provide over 110 concerts to those who can’t get out to hear the music in 2024. With this increased demand comes an increased need for funding.
Let’s keep the music going to our vulnerable seniors this holiday season!
Will you help us present our beloved professional musicians, especially at this time of year, when music means so much to those living in long-term care? Here’s what one of our listeners had to say:
“I attended your outstanding performance on Tuesday and wish to express thanks for an uplifting afternoon. Words cannot express the caliber of the musicians and singers. We knew every song and sang along and had fun. Thanks so much. I hope to attend more when opportunity arises. Thanks again.” (Dorothy & Lester Rafuse, 87 and 90 yrs. old), Dartmouth Seniors’ Centre concert)
We appreciate all donations, big and small, and will happily send you a tax receipt with our thanks and gratitude. Please make cheques payable to Health Arts Society of Atlantic Canada or donate securely online at Canada Helps: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/health-arts-society-of-atlantic-canada/
