When our world, province and communities are faced with a crisis, we look to our leaders.
The strongest leaders are the ones found in our communities. Some of these leaders are on the front lines of healthcare at South Shore Regional and Fishermen’s Memorial hospitals. They have stepped forward to care for those in our community impacted by COVID-19, all while continuing to provide the best care for those who also find themselves ill.
During times of crisis and uncertainly, the South Shore shines; our communities band together and support each other while overcoming.
Our people are our strength.
If you are in the position to help, the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore invites you join our front line heroes by helping supply them with equipment needed to fight this virus, including:
For South Shore Regional Hospital For Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital
4 OR Transport Stretchers ($4,981 each) 1 Stretcher ($4,981)
16 Vital Signs Monitors ($3,331 each) 2 Stretcher Mattresses ($782 each)
2 Dividers with Trolleys ($3,082 each)
1 Vital Signs Monitor ($3,331)
17 Stethoscopes ($118 each)
These needs are in addition to the equipment we currently have at both hospitals as we try to limit any potential spread of COVID-19 by keeping each piece of equipment to just a few patients.
You can make a critical difference. By giving to the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore’s “Front Line Fund”, you are allowing our local hospital staff to purchase essential equipment and supplies they need to treat and protect you, your loved ones and our community from COVID-19.
Join the front line – together, a healthy future is in our hands.
