Since 2006, Father Donato Lwiyando, an Xaverian missionary priest, and a dedicated team of volunteers have devoted their energy to lovingly support and provide hope to young people directly affected by war in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), Africa Our shelters can only accommodate so many, and many more children live on the street completely without support. They have no shelter, no source of food, no one to care for them, even though some are as young as five years of age and the number is increasing, St. Joseph Shelters provide a portion of rice and a small amount of beans three times a week. Your donation of $26 will feed 100 children at least once a week.
