About ST JUDE'S ANGLICAN HOME
St. Jude's Anglican Home was established in May, 1948. It was rebuilt and reopened in 1991 as a multi-level long term care home for 55 elderly residents. Our services include 24 hour nursing care, delicious and nutritious meals planned by a registered dietitian, recreation and music therapy, multi-faith pastoral care, physiotherapy, podiatry, massage therapy, and hairdressing.
St. Jude's is widely acknowledged as one of the leaders in complex geriatric care in the region.
The Home is supported by the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, user fees and donations. Donations are used to enhance resident programs and support equipment purchases and capital development.
Donations to our "Companions in Care Fund" are fully tax deductable. Donations over $500 per year are acknowledged on our Board of Special Recognition in the Home.
