About us
RÉZO's history is one made by and for our communities. Founded by GBT men during the HIV epidemic to meet the needs of their friends, lovers, and families, RÉZO has always engaged members of our target communities among our employees, Board of Directors and volunteers. We are proud that today our mission is more inclusive of the different realities and identities of GBTQ men and non-binary people. Our employees and our volunteer community have also diversified. For these reasons, since its creation, REZO has been a first choice contact for GBTQ2 + men with governments, municipal authorities, and researchers.
Located in the "Village" of Montreal, a historic district for the gay community, we are part of its social landscape. We are a visible and trusted community player. We regularly collaborate with artists, businesses and other organizations.
We are also member of several groups and tables dedicated to the well-being of LGBTQ2 people, including the LGBTQ Council of Quebec. At the national level, RÉZO is a member of the ADVANCE AVACER Alliance, a group of leading organizations in the country working with GBT men who have recovered the exchange of best practices and the collaborative development of innovations.
