Indigenous Humanitarian Foundation

Fundraising Campaign

The Indigenous Humanitarian Foundation (IHF) was founded to address the profound challenges faced by Indigenous communities, including high rates of poverty, limited access to essential services, and enduring impacts of historical injustices. The foundation’s mission is to alleviate poverty within Indigenous communities through sustainable, community-centered programs, drawing on a commitment to Truth and Reconciliation and a history of resilience in overcoming systemic obstacles. IHF’s initiatives aim to provide long-term solutions by fostering self-sufficiency, economic independence, and cultural preservation.

The purpose of this campaign is to request a charitable donation to strengthen IHF's administrative capacity. By enhancing our organizational foundation, we aim to expand our reach and efficacy in addressing poverty within Indigenous communities. Improved administrative capacity will allow us to develop more robust programs, streamline operations, and effectively manage resources dedicated to community projects, such as affordable housing, food security, and economic empowerment initiatives.

A donation to support IHF’s administrative capacity will serve as a foundational investment in our mission. By enabling us to build a strong organizational core, your support will multiply the reach and effectiveness of our poverty alleviation efforts across multiple Indigenous communities. This capacity building will allow us to more effectively implement initiatives.
