How are you celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21st?

Indigenous students across Canada invite YOU to join the journey to make education accessible to every First Nations, Inuit and Métis person from coast to coast to coast. Your support means the world to Indspire's students - when you make a donation, you make a difference.

Start raising funds NOW! Join as an individual or build a team and step up and make your voice heard! Let Indigenous students know you care about their education, their future and their history. You can make this dream come true for thousands of students across Canada. Someone like Victoria Anderson-Gardner, who attended Indspire’s Soaring: Indigenous Youth Empowerment Gathering event (see video below) for high school students, is a Building Brighter Futures recipient, and is now an award-winning film-maker.

See thumbnails below for a clip of Victoria's film, The Hurt that Binds Us, and her picture, as well as a clip from Soaring. These resources can be shared as part of your fundraising page.

“I was able to follow my dream of becoming a film-maker and bring awareness to Indigenous issues through support from Indspire.  It was my intention that The Hurt that Binds Us, a film I made about my family, would promote dialogue around intergenerational trauma so that my community can comes to term with it and heal.”

With every dollar you donate you are making a difference in a student's life - which makes a difference for their family, for their community and for our country. Spread the word: Indspire wants to help every Indigenous student graduate and we can't do it without you! Help us reach our North Star: within a generation, every Indigenous student graduates.
