Overview

KWLT is a non-profit community theatre bringing main stage productions, workshops, music, and more to Kitchener-Waterloo since 1935. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive space where everyone, regardless of experience level, can participate in the performing arts.

The 2018-19 season continues with Sister Cities (January 31-February 16), Bat-Boy: the Musical (auditions: February 11-13), and Steel Magnolias (auditions: April 1-3).

Our programmes are only successful through the support of you, our patrons. Please share this fundraiser with your friends and family!

This year's edition of the Little Stars fundraiser partners with local print artist Laura Perrin to provide donation gifts in the form of packs of six hand-printed art cards. Donors can choose between a holiday-themed set and an all-occasion / thank-you set.

Details

Support KWLT with a donation of $30 and receive a pack of six art cards by Laura Perrin.

About the Cards

  • Each pack contains at least one copy of a unique KWLT-themed card designed for this campaign.
  • The other cards in each pack can be either holiday-themed or all-occasion/thank-you cards, as chosen by the donor.
  • All cards are blank inside and come with their own envelopes.

How it Works

  • Tax Receipts:  The majority of your donation is tax-deductable. If you donate through CanadaHelps you will receive a charitable receipt instantly; you can also donate in our lobby and a receipt will be sent to you.
  • Pickup:  Cards can be picked up at the KWLT Holiday Party on December 16th from 1 to 4 PM at Patent Social (17 Erb St. East); if this is not a good option for you, email vp@kwlt.org to make other arrangements.
  • Ordering Deadline:  The campaign has been extended to December 31st

About This Charity

The Kitchener Waterloo Little Theatre was established in 1935 as a place for people to try acting in an community format. It has continued uninterrupted since then, except for a pause during the Second World War. We see ourselves as an entry point to the theatre experience. Auditions are open to anyone and a large number of actors performing with KWLT in any given year are enjoying their first acting experience.
