About L'Arche Saint John
L’Arche Saint John belongs to the world-wide network of L'Arche communities: more than 150 faith-based communities in nearly 40 different countries, creating homes, work, and day programs together with people who have intellectual disabilities. We are the first and only community of L’Arche in the province of New Brunswick. As a young community of L'Arche, we operate one home where people with and without intellectual disabilities share life together in mutual friendship, learning from each other and passionately engaging with the wider community. Our growing Creative Club also offers a place for people with a variety of abilities to develop friendships and share their gifts. L'Arche Saint John includes of an extended circle of volunteers, friends, and donors who support us in our mission and are enriched by their participation in this community -- a place of life and belonging.
