3.2% of Canadian children have a Learning Disability (LD), which is the equivalent of one child in every school bus full of children. 5-15% of children have a reading disability, which if left unsupported will hinder a child’s academic achievement, which can lead to social and emotional effects, including increased stress and anxiety, problems with self-image and depression. Early intervention is crucial!
Please help us in our campaign to support vulnerable readers who struggle with early literacy skills; specifically those with an identified or suspected learning disability.
Your gift of $125 will provide literacy intervention for a child in need. Any amount is appreciated!
