Empowerment and Restoration for Adolescent Girls
Living Hope Ranch is a 12 month, Christian based residential program for female teens, 13-17, who are struggling with life-controlling issues. It offers a structured environment that fosters personal growth and prepares residents for success in their relationships and careers.
Our goal is to help women succeed! This will be achieved by the teens co-operation with our structured program and mentoring relationships. During a residents 12 month stay the girls will learn and grow mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually; thus enabling them to confront life’s challenges with confidence.
A resident of LHR will experience a concentrated time of refocusing and examination of oneself. A community setting will offer constant supervision, education and counseling to assist the girls in moving towards personal change and growth.
A unique aspect to the Living Hope Ranch Program includes an Equine component. Equine Assisted Learning is a cutting-edge form of personal therapy in which horses are used as instruments for personal growth. Benefits include: developing healthy relationships based on mutual trust; building confidence and self-esteem; and learning problem-solving skills.
The vision of Living Hope Ranch is simple: Empowering teenage girls to become strong confident women.
We believe that all youth, with appropriate help, have the capacity to grow beyond the limits of a traumatic past or a risk-filled environment and become significant contributors to their communities. The Living Hope Ranch program focuses on Mentoring, Life Skills, Education and Faith.
The Living Hope Ranch facility is located at Diamond Willow Retreat, on a quarter section of land situated in the Cypress Hills in southwest Saskatchewan.
