The conflict in the Middle East is spreading. Recent attacks by the Israeli army in Lebanon have left 569 people dead and 1835 wounded.
Our teams already on the field are worried about the consequences of these attacks: the massive displacement of populations towards the North is leading to breakdowns in care and saturating the already fragile healthcare system.
In addition, the Government of Canada has pledged to double donations from Canadians to a maximum of $3 million by November 3rd.
